“I’ve never liked sports or been very fit but recently decided it was time to try and be a bit healthier and challenge myself a bit. I had tried running by myself before but found it really hard to motivate myself to get up and out and stick to a training plan. Since starting with Tina’s running group I’ve started to really love running and after just a few weeks I feel so much fitter and I’ve even lost a few pounds! It’s so nice meeting everyone in the park after being stuck behind a desk all day and it’s really motivating to be surrounded by a nice group of people who are all working towards the same goals and are really supportive. Tina is so helpful, offering lots of encouragement, tips and advice and there’s real sense of achievement after every session!” Mari, 26

“I must admit I’ve never been a fan of running as I always found it boring and too harsh on the body. However, since I’ve started training regularly with Tina and following the step by step programme, I feel like it is not an impossible task anymore. Tina has also helped me heal a persistent calf pain, which has made me give up running before, by getting me to correct my foot alignment. After just few weeks, I am really starting to enjoy running!” Audrey, 31

Running made easy peasy, more like! Doing this is definitely one of the best things I’ve ever done for my health. I don’t regret for a moment; in fact, the only thing I regret is that I didn’t do it last year but last year, I wouldn’t have had Tina’s expert experience and guidance to help me. I honestly could not imagine doing it without Tina. I’d have given up after two weeks! Denise, 27

Just want to say tina is great she’s friendly and doesn’t shout at you but rather encourages you to do better, each time. Three months ago i could barely run 5 mins now I’m running 45mins to an hour!!!!

Tina’s beginners course was brilliant! In the space of a couple of months I went from not being able to run up the stairs to doing a 6.5K fun run. I’m also running 5k three times a week with no problems! She’s a miracle worker!
I enjoyed the running course with Tina so much! She’s very friendly and encouraging, gives excellent advice about everything – from exercises to do, to buying runners. Tina is so encouraging, and i feel like a real runner after only 2 months – she has made it easy, and so enjoyable! I’m now running 45 mins non-stop, and it feels great to have the support of Tina and the rest of the group behind you!
Tina’ s like a one-woman fountain of knowledge – she can offer advice on everything from stretching to breathing to nutrition and of course, running. Tina’s patience and encouragement make her the perfect teacher. You won’t realise how easy it is until you do it! She’s definitely a miracle worker
I’m now running 5k three times a week, no bother and it’s all thanks to Tina!
In the space of a couple of months Tina has turned me from a person that could find any excuse under the sun not to exercise into someone who looks forward to going for a 5km run three times a week! Tina offers brilliant support & encouragement to beginners that in no time at all you’ll be amazed that you can run so far in such a short space of time!
Just finished the beginners course. My objective at the beginning was to be able to run through more than a single song. I had to spend last weekend updating my i-pod because I more than achieved this goal.
Tina amazed me week after week judging just how far to push us along from the 1st, 1 minute run to the very last class. Great advice & encouragement for running and general fitness. I’m delighted I did the course & have already recommended it to others.
Just finished a 8 week course with Tina and am delighted to say that Tina really does make running easy.My main aim was to improve my breathing as I went along, with the breathing exercises Tina thought, this helped me greatly. I never thought I would say I enjoy running but am delighted that as a result of the course I now do. Would recommend this course with anyone, thanks again Tina
In January 2010 I could not run!
I joined the class with Tina hoping to be able to run for ten minutes .. little did I realise that not only would I learn to run but I would also have fun, make some lovely new friends and be well able to run for 30 minutes!
Tina has immense patience, is full of encouragement, advice and helpful tips on running, exercise, healthy and general well being.
RunWithTina beginner class is a must for anyone who wants to learn to run!
….the breathing and the stretching have made all the difference…I did the beginners course last year and we are coming to the end of the refresher course this week….It doesn’t matter what age you are….I’m 44 and am thoroughly enjoying the camaderie and the running…Tina keeps a watchful eye on your posture and gives us good advice and positive feedback.
I always wanted to be able to go out and enjoy a 30 minute run but could never get past 5-10 mins.Tina’s biginners course was exactly what I needed to get up to the full 30 mins. I really enjoyed the course and met some lovely people (who I still meet up with for regular runs!) I’ve ran a number of fun runs and I’m running the mini marathon again this year, wouldn’t have been able to do it without all the help from Tina and the girls from the group!
Bring on Sept when I shall finally have the time to join (hopefully)
I totally reccomend a run with tina course. I never thought id see the day id finish a 10 k run, but with tinas help i was able to do so. The training sessions were friendly, fun and encouraging, since not only do you gain from Tinas excellent knowledge and training tips, but you also realise that you are learning with a group of supportive women in the same boat.
I started to Run with Tina a year ago, and would not have believed anyone who said that not only would I still be running a year later, but loving it, too. Five of us from that lunchtime class still meet up to run together, which is a huge motivating factor. It is wonderful to be out in the open air instead of chained to a desk, it’s a huge stress-buster and, once Tina has got you running, it’s free!

The couch potato line was what drew me into starting up running with Tina in the first place. I was quite unfit and had little motivation to change. I was apprehensive that when I joined, the class would be full of people that were super fit already but there was no need for me to worry. Tina has a great teaching method and it makes you actually enjoy running. One year on and I’m still keeping it up. Thanks for everything Tina!!
This class was fantastic, it’s just the right pace..no matter what your level. Even if you think you’ll never be able to run this class is for you. Without even noticing all of a sudden you’ll be running 15mins non stop, then next thing you know the class is over and you’ll be running 30mins non-stop. As well as the running, Tina’s stretching and toning exercises are excellent and really get you toned and ready for running without injury. And even if you lose motivation after finishing the course Tina is always at the other end of an e-mail, very willing to help you get back running. A definite must for everyone!
I really enjoy running with Tina. I love the safety of a running group. I love that I am more likely to run when I have committed to meeting up with people at a given time. Tina is great – a mix of sensible running and stretching advice, with some holistic therapies and vegetarian recipes thrown in. She is good fun, very patient and the whole running group gels together on the runs. I am really enjoying running 8-10 km at the moment, when this time last year I couldn’t have run 500 meters without getting out of breath.
I am really excited about starting my first course next week. I have never been a runner or even a big fan of exercise in general, I’ve always been the ultimate couch potato but after reading all about Tina’s methods and all the feedback left by others I finally feel this is something that I can do and more importantly enjoy!
I just finished the 8 week running course, which Mark was running as part of runwithtina in Phoenix Park. I have to say that if I can do it, anyone can! When i started the course I didn’t think i would be able to do the 1 and a half minute runs, and I struggled with being out of breath. But as the weeks progressed, it started to feel great. At the start of each class I didnt think I would be able to keep up, and when the group kept being able to do it, and were all finishing together it was a great confidence boost. The classes are run on a great structure and I trusted completely what Mark the trainer was telling us we would be able to do. I really can’t stress enough how little confidence I had at the start that I would be able to keep up with the class, let alone be able to run for 30 minutes at the end. But I did it! I would advise anyone to sign up for this class. Tina and Mark are so attentive and always send on extra information about exercises and stretches, plus hints on how to get the most out of it. More than that, they are both always available for any questions that you have and you feel like they are really there for the group. It now has me running three times a week! I can’t thank them enough.
